Has anyone compared the results of actual testing backtest screen results with buying the stocks in a virtual trading account for say 3 months and compared the results to see how much difference there is between the two?

Hi Phillippe,

I ran backtests for 13 of the more popular screens starting from 2000 on a yearly, 5 year, 10 year and 16 year basis.  Some did really well until 2010 and then the mix changed.  What I do now is run backtests YTD on these 13 screens to see which ones are doing well now.  Most are just even or below SP500 but a few are doing better.  That's where I have been allocating funds.  I am new to RW so am trying to get the most bang for my buck.
