Here is a growth and income strategy from Kevin's book titled Finding #1 Stocks. This screen starts out looking for solid growth parameters then drills down to the best dividend payers of the group. Over the last 10 years this strategy has average annual compounded return of 20.6% and that's while taking on about 40% less risk than the S&P 500.
Attached is the screen and report. Save them to your C:/ZIR/Inputs folder.
RW: 10 years
Over the last 10 years (April 2001 thru April 2011), using a 12 week rebalancing period, and a 4-run robustness analysis check, the average compounded annual growth rate was 16.8% vs. the S&P's 2.3%. What's even more impressive is the smaller average Maximum Drawdown of only -26.6% vs. the S&P's -46.9%.
For convenience, I've attached the screen (.und file) and report (.rpd file) here. If you don't have a Growth and Income Strategies folder in your program, it means you don't have the latest version. Either update your program, or, just download the screen and report to your C:/Zir/Inputs folder.
